Sony Hall is a landmark venue blending historic entertainment legacy with cutting-edge sound technology.
Sony Hall, nestled in the heart of New York City’s Theater District at 235 West 46th Street, is a premier live music venue that seamlessly blends historic charm with cutting-edge technology. Originally opened in 1938 as Billy Rose’s Diamond Horseshoe, the venue has undergone several transformations and was relaunched as Sony Hall in 2018 by the Blue Note Entertainment Group.
Equipped with Sony’s latest audio and visual technologies, the venue offers a versatile space for concerts, private events, and corporate gatherings, while delivering an unparalleled immersive experience for music enthusiasts. Its design preserves elements of a storied past while embracing modern aesthetics, making it a unique destination for both performers and audiences alike.

Here’s what we did…
Project 13 designed and developed a custom WordPress website for Sony Hall that conveys both the venue’s storied history and its modern, Sony-equipped immersive music and event experience. We created a visually dynamic, mobile-responsive site that highlights upcoming shows, venue amenities, private event offerings, and Sony’s state-of-the-art technology—while preserving the elegance of its historic legacy.
Built with performance, accessibility, and ease of management in mind, the site directly integrates Sony Hall’s ticketing platform, automatically displaying event details and significantly reducing the time and effort required to keep upcoming and featured shows up to date.
Project 13 also provides ongoing Website Maintenance for the Sony Hall team.
It was a wonderful experience for the Project 13 team to design and build a new website for Sony Hall—a venue that combines New York’s rich history with modern music technology. Being part of creating their new online presence was a privilege.
